VCE ENGLISH:
Group and individual lessons available

The VCE English tutoring is important and strongly weighted in relation to a student's ATAR, so mastering this subject is important. At Impact, we aim to break down the syllabus and offer students the material to achieve excellence.

Students study a variety of different books throughout the year, so our classes are generally organised according to texts - this ensures the lesson is focused and relevant to each individual.

We make exam preparation targeted and efficient, providing guidance on:

  • Structuring essays

  • Improving written expression

  • Using evidence from the texts to substantiate arguments

 

VCE MATHS:
Group and individual lessons available

We offer all maths tuition including: Further, Methods and Specialist Maths. Our sessions are focused on strengthening fundamental skills, whilst bridging the gap between knowledge and application when it comes to the exam.

Constant practice creates a solid foundation and instills confidence within students. Indeed, by providing practice questions and trial exams for our students early, preparation begins ahead of time and skills are well established by the end of the year. 

 

Additional trials exams are conducted prior to the exam so students are aware of what to expect.

VCE CHEMISTRY:
Group and individual lessons available

The Chemistry tutoring is a pre-requisite subject for certain courses including Medicine, making it a competitive cohort in which students must have an vast set of application skills and knowledge.

At Impact, we seek to ensure easy understanding for our students. By making insightful links in class, and providing quality preparation materials, our classes target every aspect of the chemistry learning process.

We focus on:

  • Making difficult concepts understandable through examples and simpler explanations

  • Improving the speed and accuracy of numerical calculations

  • Improving exam technique and understanding mark allocations
     

 

VCE BIOLOGY:
Individual lessons available

The Biology tutoring is a content heavy subject, so it is important to understand the most efficient study methods to approach preparation. However, there has been a recent shift in the study design which demands more application.
Our classes ensure:

  • Content is delivered in a succinct, understandable manner

  • Content is taught in depth

  • Exam preparation consolidates both knowledge and exam answering techniques
